Iyengar Yoga for Healthy Aging 5 Week Course – NEW SESSION!

The young, the aged, the diseased, the weak – all may take to the practice of yoga and derive its benefits without hinderance” (Hatha Yoga Pradipika).

This Healthy Aging class is geared to the more mature yoga student with a focus on balance, strength, mobility and peace of mind.  No experience required. Amy, an experienced Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) and certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT) will instruct mature students in the practice of yoga. By using the Iyengar Method as well as props invented by BKS Iyengar this class will safely guide the more mature learner towards a more mobile, stronger and active experience in their day to day life. Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure that every student receives personal care and instruction.
