The 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6-7PM will be a new class focused on Pranayama (breath work). Pranayama is the yogic practice of controlling the breath to expand vital life energy (“prana”), offering significant physical and mental health benefits. Regular practice
reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, improves lung capacity, enhances cognitive function, and brings emotional balance, acting as a bridge between body and mind. I hope you consider adding this class to your weekly yoga practice.

This Healthy Aging class is geared to the more mature yoga student with a focus on balance, strength, mobility and peace of mind. No experience required. Amy, an experienced Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT) and certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT) will instruct mature students in the practice of yoga. By using the Iyengar Method as well as props invented by BKS Iyengar this class will safely guide the more mature learner towards a more mobile, stronger and active experience in their day to day life. Class size is limited to 10 students to ensure that every student receives personal care and instruction.
