The Power of Pranayama

Pranayama—breath work—(prana—energy, yama—regulation) is a powerful tool to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system as well as cleanse the body of environmental toxins and impurities.

Although thousands of years old, this breath practice is more relevant today, then ever before. As humans, we are bombarded with the never-ending mental distractions of technology and the media causing our nervous system to be constantly on alert. In addition, our bodies are physically damaged from environmental pollutants. Pranayama can bring the healing energies to all systems of the body.

This introductory workshop will provide background on this ancient practice as well as introduce you to beginning
pranayama’s designed to clear the mind and bring more
vitality to your breath.
